ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
Nira Shezaf believes that true healing begins when we are given the space to move from simply surviving to genuinely being. She recognizes that trauma, severe distress, and attachment wounds often disconnect us from our authentic selves, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, detached, or out of touch with our own lives. In therapy, Nira creates a compassionate, safe, and steady space where clients can feel truly seen, understood, and supported as they navigate painful experiences and reclaim their sense of self.
Specializing in complex trauma, sexual trauma, attachment wounds, dissociative presentations, and major life transitions, Nira brings over a decade of dedicated clinical experience to her practice. Her work is depth-oriented and integrative, combining relational psychodynamic therapy with EMDR, ego-state work and somatic awareness. Rather than rushing processing, Nira prioritizes safety, pacing, and expanding the window of tolerance - helping clients build internal resources so they can process past pain safely.
Prior to joining our team, Nira served as a Clinical Lead in a specialized public mental health clinic and a sexual trauma treatment unit. In these roles, she provided long-term psychotherapy, supervised clinicians, and coordinated specialized, long-term trauma recovery care.
Nira also holds a degree in computer engineering and spent years working in the technology sector before transitioning to psychotherapy - a background that gives her a deep, lived understanding of major life transitions, recognizing the price, pain, and courage involved in significant change, as well as the profound opportunity to live with a deeper sense of being and alignment with one's true self.
Anchored by the belief that healing unfolds when we feel deeply seen and recognized by another, Nira invites her clients into a gentle, collaborative therapeutic partnership. She holds space for the full complexity of your story, helping you loosen the grip of past trauma, resolve internal obstacles, and step into a deeply meaningful, authentic life.
