Meet Rahel
Registered Clinical Counsellor
(Rahel's pronouns are: she/they).
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Rahel is passionate about supporting clients with trauma-related symptoms including intergenerational and religious trauma, self-criticism, relational and sexual issues, attachment wounds, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
Rahel believes healing happens in relationship and that with safety and collaboration in the counselling space, clients can begin to move towards the growth and transformation they seek.
Rahel’s therapeutic approach is embodied, non-judgmental, and compassionate. While primarily informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), she also offers EMDR therapy, and somatic therapies. Her approach is deeply rooted in polyvagal and attachment theories, and is seen through a systemic, queer, and feminist lens.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, Rahel spent over two decades teaching mindful movement arts in the form of Raqs Sharqi (Bellydance), Hatha Yoga, and a trauma-informed somatic practice called Embodied Movement. Her experience in supporting embodiment, empowerment, mindfulness, and self-acceptance informs her work as a counsellor now.
Rahel is passionate about helping people from all walks of life feel safe and seen. She welcomes and especially enjoys working with the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, abilities, cultural backgrounds, and relational structures.
Rahel Offers In-Person and Online Appointments
