Provided by our Graduate Intern Counsellors
We are now offering counselling services at a reduced rate for people who experience financial barriers to accessing therapy. These sessions are provided by Graduate Intern Counsellors who are either completing their practicum for their Master's degree or are in the process of getting licensed. Interns provide supportive counselling to clients with a wide range of issues and concerns and are supervised by our Clinical Director, Shivani Wells-Shaw. Interns are committed to growth and learning, are aware of the most up-to-date research on evidence-based practices, and transfer this knowledge to their work with clients. They offer a high degree of empathy and compassion, and share the values of our clinic. Sessions with Graduate Intern Counsellors provide a space where you can feel seen and heard, gain perspective on your experience, learn healthy coping skills, and explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Sessions can take place online or in person at our office in Downtown Vancouver.
