Meet Josh 

Registered Clinical Counsellor 

(Josh's pronouns are: he/him).

Josh works with teenagers, young adults, adults, couples, and families. He aims to help clients reach their mental health goals with kindness, genuine compassion, and openness.


Josh works from a client-centred and trauma-informed approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, and somatic techniques.


He helps clients who are going through stressful life events, transitions, and relationship issues.


Josh specializes in treating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, chronic health issues, Obsessiveness and Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and GI issues (IBS and IBD).


He completed a Clinical Hypnotherapist Diploma with the Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy in 2012 and has done clinical research in the topics of mindfulness meditation at Fraser Health Authority, and emotion processing and GI diseases at UBC School of Medicine. 

Josh is a provider with ICBC.
